Treat acne with banana peel

If you’ve tried to treat your acne with every skin care product available, try a home remedy. It is very likely that you have a bunch of bananas lying around at home or can easily get them. Use the banana peel to treat your acne-affected skin. Banana peel contains lutein, an antioxidant, and potassium. If you have had enough of treating your acne with other products then try using banana for other skin treatments as well.

Wash your skin

Before you use the banana skin, you should make sure that your skin is free of dirt and grease. Use a mild cleaner to clean the affected area and then rinse with cold water. Dab the skin dry with a soft, clean towel.
Do not rub too hard. The skin can become inflamed and acne can be worse.
Choose your banana

You should choose a ripe banana. It should be yellow with brown spots. Do not use less ripe bananas (bright yellow with green tip) or overripe (greasy and brown). [1]
Using a ripe banana will also make it easier to wipe over the area affected by acne.

Prepare the bowl

Remove the banana from the shell. You will not need them to treat your acne, so eat them or save them for another skin problem. Cut the shell to make it easier to hold a piece in your hand. [2]
Banana peels contain vitamins A, B, C, E, as well as potassium, zinc, iron and manganese. [3] These nutrients can calm inflamed skin and reduce acne spasms. [4]

Grate with the banana peel over your skin.

Use the white inner part of the shell. Take the piece of banana peel and rub it over your skin or massage your skin with it for about 10 minutes. [5]
You should check every few minutes and see if the shell on the inside is still white. When she turns black, replace her with another piece and continue to massage your skin.

Give your skin a break.

Do not wash your face immediately after you’re done massaging it with the banana peel. If you can, then wait until the end of the day to rinse your skin with cold water. This will allow your skin to absorb the nutrients of the banana peel.
If you can not wait until the end of the day to wash your face, try rubbing the skin over your skin before going to bed. In the morning you can then rinse your face with clear water.

Continue to treat your skin with banana peels.

You only have to rub your face with the banana peel once a day, but you should do this several days in a row. [6] After a few days, you may find that your acne is starting to get cleaner or at least less red. If you find that your skin is extremely irritated after using the banana peel, then stop using it and take a break from your skin. [8] Consider going to the dermatologist if your acne persists or gets worse.

Method 2

Use bananas for skin care

Treat wrinkles or cracked heels. If you have wrinkles that you would like to treat, or you have dry, cracked heels, then use a banana. Put a crushed banana directly on the wrinkles or heels of your feet and let the puree in. The banana will moisturize your skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
In particular, the vitamin E in bananas can make your skin less wrinkled. [9]

Make an exfoliation.

Crush a banana in a bowl until it is almost liquid. Stir in 1 tablespoon of sugar and 2-3 tablespoons of oatmeal. [10] It will make it easier to apply the scrub to your skin and remove any dead skin cells. Rinse the scrub with warm water and then apply a moisturizer.
Gentle when peeling your skin. Never scrub your skin with rough movements, as this can damage your skin. Instead, use your fingertips carefully and apply the scrub in a circular motion.

Try a moisturizing mask.

For a quick, moisturizing facial mask, you can take a ripe banana and crush it with a fork until it is reasonably fluid. Lubricate your face and let it work for 15 to 20 minutes. If you want to get more benefits out of the mask, try mixing in one of these ingredients: [11]

Kurkumapulver: it has antibacterial properties that can fight infection
Baking soda: it can open the pores and remove excess fat
Lemon juice: it can lighten and tighten the skin
Honey: it could kill acne-causing bacteria. Use banana for your hair. Do not forget that banana is also well suited to treat hair problems. Zerq
